Mini-Abdominoplasty (Mini Tummy-Tuck) with Breast Augmentation

This patient is 45 years old, 5’6″ tall, 135 lbs. She had three C-sections and has a typical skin excess that folds over her C-section scar. There is a moderate separation of the abdominal muscles (diastasis recti), moreso in the lower part of her abdomen. She was not concerned with having a belly that was as tight as possible- she was more concerned with reducing the lower abdominal bulge that is most visible in the photos from the side, and the skin fold in the middle that she feels is visible in clothing.

Most importantly this is a patient who needed her proportions ‘adjusted’. As is seen in the before photo from the front, her hips appear very wide. Her real issue is that her chest is somewhat narrow compared to her hips. By also performing breast augmentation in a way that not only makes her larger and more lifted but also wider, her body is in better balance. Looking at the ‘after’ picture from the front, her hips appear smaller…even though I did nothing to her hips! This is all a result of performing breast augmentation using this technique.
