Breast Lift Before & After Case 61

This patient is a 44 year-old woman unhappy with the size and shape of her breasts. She has two children and also had a 50 lb weight loss. She wanted to retain a natural appearance. She did not want a vertical scar on her breast.

Dr. Newman’s Discussion:

This woman has a significant loss of volume and skin laxity. Her chest is a bit barrel-shaped and her shoulders are broad so it was important to give her a result that is not too narrow for her chest. She also requested liposuction of her lower belly at the same time.

Procedure: Circum-Areolar Breast Lift (Mastopexy with Scar Only Around Nipple) with Small Breast Augmentation.

Implants: 225cc Smooth Round Saline Implants placed Under the Muscle

Originally I thought I could just have implant surgery without any lift. Dr. Newman explained the options to me and I now understand why just implants would not have worked well for me.
